Christstollen

European artisan flour, whole milk, marzipan, fresh yeast, local honey, lemon zest, vanilla bean, and butter.

This traditional northern European sweet yeast bread is studded with dark rum soaked candied orange and lemon peel, organic currants, Michigan cherries and slivered almonds. In addition to actually making this bread with marzipan worked into the actual dough, we also fold a sweet marzipan log into each delicious Christmas pastry.


Dark Chocolate & Apricot Babka

AP Flour, cake flour, butter, eggs, cane sugar, milk, honey, yeast, salt, lemon zest, vanilla bean, organic apricots, Valrhona cocoa, Valrhona chocolate.  .    

Our Babka begins with a traditional pound cake - made here in our bakery from scratch which is then mixed with organic apricot and melted butter to make a delicious filling.

Two pieces of Babka dough are “schmeared” with the above pound cake/apricot mixture and 72% Felchlin chocolate!  The babka is braided and baked in our Alsacean ovens!

Babka is a delicious yeast coffee cake that should be sliced thinly and enjoyed plain or toasted.  Please store in a cool place, tightly wrapped in plastic!
